Our Story

Expedited Logistics is a 3rd party logistics company based in lovely Jurupa Valley, CA and recently opened it’s 2nd location in Godfrey, IL.

Founded by Kevin and Robert Sacalas in mid-2021, Expedited Logistics was formed to be another asset in the Landjet Companies and offering full-service solutions to clients. We proudly became a member of Transportation Intermediaries Association in March of 2021. Expedited handles various modes of transportation including full and partial truckloads along with port and rail moves, and has strong relationships with chilled and frozen LTL carriers covering most of the US and Canada. We specialize in raw materials for the food industry and are well-versed in food safety protocol requirements as well as the hospitality industry, and we have a strong understanding of those timing demands. Working with both ingredients for food production or meeting install dates for the hospitality industry is part of our daily routine.

Starting out with just one employee, Expedited Logistics grew drastically in 2022 and has been very excited to open it’s 2nd location in the Midwest in early 2023. It is a fast-paced exciting environment that our employees enjoy working in. We are thankful for our customers and carriers both for their loyalty and continued business.

Can Expedited Logistics handle chilled, frozen and dry LTL?

Absolutely. We have a great network of carriers that gives us of lots of shipping options to cover the US and Canada.

Yes, from various ports we have the capability to handle overweight containers.

Yes, we have online tracking that is secure and specific to each customer.

Customer Tracking

Each order is given with instructions on how to handle your specific product. We also have an extensive vetting process so we use only the most qualified carriers to handle our shipments.

We require carriers to be in business for at least 9 months consecutively, have good safety scores based on Federal guidelines, carry cargo insurance along with General and Auto Liability coverage. We also ask for several references that can be contacted to verify service levels and have good standings on various websites we have in place to confirm carrier integrity.

Our terms are 30 days from the date of receiving your invoice and a legible clean POD. We do offer quick pay but there is a fee involved. Please reach out to your Expedited Logistics contact for those details.

Landjet and Inland Empire are two of the first jewels in the Sacalas family businesses. Those companies are Expedited Logistics’ sister trucking company and cold storage facility that are also owned by Kevin and Robert Sacalas and based in Jurupa Valley, CA. Expedited Logistics is the newest gem of the family completing the gambit of logistic services the Sacalas family is able to offer their customers to help meet any need.
